a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

I chose to profile only 3 species of plants and 1 species of butterfly because I ran out of time. The three plants are: Willow, Fescue (bunchgrass), and Dutchman’s pipevine. The butterfly is pipevine swallowtail. None of these look exactly like the species I intended to portray, but that’s ok…
