a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

So here’s a terribly not to scale and freehand drawing of a lap joint I learned to do in class a few weeks ago. I initially wanted a reminder of what I did in class, as in: step one: start with wood! step two: draw center line, measure out the width…

I was a bit busy today after work playing with this site, putting a new page in, so this is as good as today’s drawing will get. Not bad for a blind contour drawing. Almost instant gratification. For now this is a good start. But I want to do drawing…
