a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

i know it’s not in order. But I was quite happy with this drawing and I may apply for a week-long artist residency, so I thought I should put these up as an example. Completely unplanned drawing at work, so they are disorganized. The next ones should be much better.

This day was a busy day cleaning my garden and my room. I could only get to a short little unfinished drawing here of some seed pods from the lettuce mix plants I grew this summer. meh. sometimes, you win, sometimes you don’t, but the point is… you keep going.
