a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

Meh. Today was an off day. Not everything went as planned. The best laid plans of mice and men and irene often go awry. But I went to my dance class and did my drawings anyway. yay! consistency!

In wood class, we planed some more. We need a class hamster or two to utilize all the wood shavings that the class produces. These are the shavings I produced from my plane on a piece of poplar. I saved some of the shavings because they’re so beautiful.
