a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

One more wood shaving drawing, i promise (for this week). This time it’s me smelling it. That looks a bit like me, I suppose. I normally close my eyes when I smell this, but if I did, then how could I make the drawing. I also got a bit impatient…

i can’t get enough of wood shavings! This is from a piece of wood that Jay brought in. I think he said it was Port Orford Cedar and smells simply divine and have a wonderful texture.
