a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

More people on the train as I travel to and from my dance classes. I’m not sure why some of the people turn out to be Asian-looking. I don’t mean it to be, and not every person I’m drawing are Asian. Oh well. At least they look like people.

what is this? a dried out leaf of a plant from work through a microscope. When it’s dried out, seems like you can see the cells in the leaf. This is a Suaeda calceoliformis. It’s a little succulent annual that normally grows in the Great Basin, but it grow really fast…
