a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

Today I met up with my painting group. Most of the time, I just eat snacks and socialize and maybe get a drawing or two. The group has gotten larger and I’ve not felt the desire to paint… still fretting about my diorama show. I feel like I can’t do…

Dance practice today, so that means I get to draw people on the train, but these are getting boring. I should have stopped along the way from the BART station to the dance studio and sketched the buildings or the group of pigeons I saw eating something… probably bread. Maybe…
