a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

President Obama gave the State of the Union speech on this day. I had to work late, so I missed out of painting night with my friends who were going to bring a radio and listen to the speech in class. They’d be commenting… like Mystery Science 3000 if anyone…

I feel like I’m still at the edges of getting my art groove back. Not totally there, but not out of it completely. One day at a time.
