a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

I’m really enjoying drawing with my left hand. I’m slow at it and it is a challenge in a moving train, but still… it’s interesting to me. I wasn’t really going to post anything today, but I was asked how this daily drawing thing is going… and I was embarrassed…

My right thumb got infected and fortunately I did not draw it or the needle I was using to drain it or what came out of my finger or the antibiotic I had to resort to because the pain was spreading to my forefinger. I think the words are gross…
