a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

I have a confession. A few days before this drawing was done, I met another man and we were getting to know each other. In the past, when I see couples who look like they’re in love, I think, barf! Get a room. I think I was jealous of them.…

On this day, I was on my way to another dance class. I really have to learn to draw faster and make decisions faster about who to draw and such because situations change. People change positions, other people enter my viewing area, blocking my subjects, etc. Adaptation. It’s a thing.
