a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

I had lunch with an old friend today and finally told her about my divorce. She was very compassionate and accepting. I was so relieved. I have this (irrational) fear that I will be judged when I tell friends about it. And although this blog is public, hardly anyone reads…

On one hand I benefit from people in their own worlds because that means I can draw them without inhibition, but on the other hand, sometimes I think of how lonely people seem, even in a crowded train. I wonder if it’s what they want, to be left alone. Sometimes…
