Electromechanics for everything 01/29/2018

I signed up for this class. I’ve been wanting to take it since 2011, so here I am! I confess that I got furloughed on 1/22 and I totally forgot to come to class. (Stupid Congress decided to shut down the government for one day! Obama did everything better. Even the shutdowns were better!)

Anywaaaayyyy….I’m learning about Ohm’s Law, V=IR, resistors, capacitors, power, current, potentiometer, and something called integrated circuit.  Sorry I didn’t pay enough attention back in Mr. Wahl’s high school physics class. You were right, Mr. Wahl; this stuff is important and has practical uses. I’m sorry I chafed at the egg drop project, the bridge project and the build a mousetrap powered car with mousetrap, hanger and cds. My partner, Sangeetha and I cried while we struggled with this project, just so you know Mr. Wahl. So if I have forgotten what Ohm’s Law, Direct and Alternating Current is in the last 25 years, you’ll have to forgive me. Anyway, back to present day: Other students in the class are all so young (one is still in high school! Awww!) I feel like I’m playing catch up to life, still learning how to do things I should have known long ago. That said, who cares. This is my life, and I will live it at my own pace. Also, get off my lawn!
