non-dominant hand drawing 11/08-11/24/2015

I am never going to get caught up by posting one a day. Plus, I am getting very, very lazy… or getting more “rest” (which my therapist advocates),  but to be honest, I can’t tell the difference. The only thing I do know is that the longer I don’t post anything, the more guilt I feel about not posting and not keeping up with my goal of being consistent.

I can’t promise anything but here are one batch of drawings I have finally scanned in for the rest of November. Then I’ll do December. Then January, but I know that’s pretty sparse because I’ve been distracted with this new Place of Her Own classes I’ve been attending. More on that another time…

Most of drawings, as usual, are of people on the BART. Then I went to Las Vegas with some girl friends immediately (hence the airplane seat drawing) after the opening reception to my show which was full of highs and lows.

Before Thanksgiving arrived, we had a staff meeting, which was long as usual, so I filled that time of being forced to attend a meeting with drawings of my co-workers and supervisors. I love my job for the most part. Whereas the other lab is called the fun and cool lab, I think my lab is the drama-free lab, mostly because some of us have been there long enough to know better; we do all we can to get the job done as quickly as possible and go back to our real lives. The only drama that exists is the one we create or contribute. Sometimes I am guilty of it though. When I realize it (which might be too late), I shut the hell up (it is never too late to shut up). I’ll take boring over drama any day. Sorry about the tangent. Anyway, I give you drawings for the rest of November.
