These are some paintings I did in 2013. All acrylic on canvas pad. 16 x 20.
This was the year of my depression. Painting was one of my escapes, although I was not cognizant of that at the time. In addition to painting I also read 138 novels, mostly young adult novels. I escaped to a world of yellows, greens, blues, and reds, swirls, trees, animals. When I returned to reality, I separated from my marriage.
