daily drawing 10/30-31/2014

This drawing took me a lot longer than I anticipated. I was ambitious but not realistic about the amount of time it would take and the amount of time I had.

I found a sweet photograph of this gentleman at work, in the process of clearing out an office from a previous scientist. My lab has an associated lab in Rome, Italy and this took place in Italy based on the group of photographs with which this was found. Written on the back of it: “Sig. CRESCENTINO FATTICONI Gardener – June 1966”
